Although the DB2 was originally designed for outdoor use, it has quickly become one of the most popular indoor antennas due to its small size and extraordinary gain. The bowtie design provides strong gain across the entire UHF spectrum and it functions incredibly well in areas where a low profile antenna is required.

Summary: Exactly what I needed
Comment: Best price I found, for exactly what I needed. I live in a spot where the db2 works perfectly (don't need the extra with the db4). Just checked what direction I needed it to point online, plugged in, and aligned it with my compass. Works perfectly, unless I try and put it unmounted (when testing) behind all my electronics. But mounted it in my attic and it works even without a signal booster.
Great price, nice size, works perfect.

Summary: Don't be afraid
Comment: when you see 'Outdoor Antenna' on the Antennas Direct DB2 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna package, or that you can't put this together. If I can do it, anyone can.
I mounted the antenna on a tripod in the corner of the living room, which has two windows. I faced it the right way, and voila! the two channels that previously showed 'no signal' came in clear as a bell. Maybe I would receive more channels if it was on the roof, but I'm happy with the ones I have.
I also bought the Belkin PureAV AV21300-25-25 foot RF Coaxial Video Cable and connected it to the
HDTV box.

Summary: great antenna that works indoor

I bought this antenna after reading many of the positive reviews, including those from people using it indoor. Previously I used a rabbit ear antenna and was able to receive all the basic channels here in NW Austin: FOX, PBS, NBC, ABC, CBS, and CW (9 including sub-channels). Signal strength was good most of the time, occasional pixelated images, but the antenna had to be fully extended and was very unsightly. To solve this problem I installed this antenna in the master bedroom closet right above the cable distribution box (mounted it flat against the wall). The reception has improved; I can still receive all the same network channels plus a couple of new Spanish channels. This is pretty good considering the less than optimal install: indoor, first floor, not facing stations. I can't say anything bad about this product other than the photos in the instructions don't appear to match the actual product. Fortunately it's a piece of cake to install.

Summary: Works as advertised
Comment: This antenna has to be assembled using simple tools (screwdriver). The instructions are reasonably clear although I initially installed the elements backwards. We attached the antenna to an internal HDTV card installed in a desktop computer and are using it indoors. It picks up more signals than our other antenna (one of those picture frame antennas). The main HD antenna towers are 10 miles away and they all reported maximum signal strength. We'll be trying it with some towers that are 30 miles away in another week or two and we'll report on that.

Summary: Fantastic antenna
Comment: I bought this antenna to go with a TV without a cable hookup, for the upcoming digital conversion. The TV had an antenna already and got okay analog reception (six channels), but with the digital convertor no channels came through (digital requires a full signal or does not work at all). I hooked up this antenna to the TV and convertor box...voila! Thirty digital channels in seconds (even hooked up indoors, in an apartment complex). Highly recommeneded!
